Mit "Save Us" haben wir das Finale der Maxton Hall Reihe erreicht. Und könnte dieses Finale spannender und mitreißender ausfallen? Ich glaube kaum! Die Wendungen, die dieses Buch mit sich bringt sind dieses Mal wirklich der Wahnsinn und schicken einen auf eine Achterbahn der Gefühle.

Endlich erschien der 3. Teil der Maxton-Hall-Reihe. Ich war schon so gespannt auf das Finale und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Zwar war es nicht so rasant und aufregend, wie die ersten beiden Teile aber in diesem Band lag der Schwerpunkt eigentlich auch auf dem Erreichen der Ziele und nicht mehr um den Kampf, sich selber zu finden.
Ein sehr gelungener Abschluss der Maxton-Hall Reihe, wobei mir das Ende zu schnell gekommen ist. Trotz der vielen Contras in den Kommentaren fand ich den Perspektivenwechsel der Protagonisten toll. Es war unterhaltsam, nicht nur in James' und Rubys Leben sehen zu dürfen, sondern auch in das der anderen.

Fazit: "Save us" ist der Abschlussband der Maxton Hall Reihe von Spiegel - Bestseller - Autorin Mona Kasten. Nicht perfekt. Ein wenig klischeehaft. Ein fast zu makelloses Ende. Trotzdem ein unterhaltsamer dritter Band. Ich habe das Buch gerne gelesen. Von mir gibt es knappe **** Sterne. Zitat
Save us ist der dritte und letzte Teil der Maxton-Hall Reihe. Obwohl ich finde das dieser Teil der schwächste der drei ist, hat mir das Buch gleich wie die anderen beiden sehr gut gefallen. Mir haben die verschiedenen Perspektiven gut gefallen, besonders die Sicht von Alistair und Ember.
Diese Reihe schuf Mona Kasten (*1992) im Jahre 2018. Die Reihenfolge hat sich seit der Idee auf insgesamt drei Bücher entwickelt.
