Obwohl ich ein bisschen Angst habe, dass sie im zweiten Band zurück zu den Klischees wandert, denn das Ende lässt mich schon in eine bestimmte Richtung denken. Bring down the stars ist eine wunderschöne Liebesgeschichte über die vielfältige Art der Liebe. Über drei Menschen, die sich wahrhaftig lieben jeder auf seine Weise.
Ich habe mich sehr auf Emma Scotts Fortsetzung „Light Up the Sky“ gefreut, nachdem mich der erste Teil der Beautiful Hearts Reihe „Bring Down the Stars“ wirklich sehr berührt hatte. Darum habe ich mir natürlich sofort den zweiten Band gekauft, als er in die Läden kam.
"Bring down the Stars" ist der erste Roman, den ich von der Autorin Emma Scott gelesen habe. Ihr klarer Schreibstil und die Fähigkeit, bestimmte Momente und Situationen besonders hervorzuheben, haben mich wirklich gut gefallen. Dabei sind auch die romatischen Stellen nicht zu schmalzig und es gibt eine gute Balance zwischen Liebe und Spannung.

Wow! Emma Scott kannte ich schon von "All In" und "The Light in Us", aber mit "Bring Down the Stars" hat sie nochmal eine Schippe oben drauf gelegt. Wie kann sie mir denn mit ihren Bücher immer wieder das Herz brechen? Einfach nur ganz große Klasse. Den Schreibstil von Emma Scott würde ich schon als geradezu poetisch beschreiben.
